Basking Ridge Winter Market
Bishop Janes UMC (22 S Finley Ave) hosts its annual Winter Market from 12 pm to 7 pm. More than 50 vendors and local artists showcase their holiday wares for sale. So, don’t forget to bring your Christmas gift list. You’ll find something for everyone on your list…including a little somethin’-somethin’ for yourself if you want! Plus, pick up a wreath or tree for your Basking Ridge home’s holiday decor.
Additionally, watch live entertainment like dancers from Gotta Dance and singers from The Singing Actors Studio. Include the kids in the festivities with fun holiday-themed children’s activities. If you stop by the Bernards Township Library between 12 pm and 2 pm, they offer fun kids activities as well. And you absolutely must go to the Washington House Restaurant (55 S Finley) for a bite to eat and some holiday card coloring out on the heated patio between 3 pm and 5 pm.
Basking Ridge Tree Lighting
Just before 5:30 pm, stop everything you’re doing and watch the tree lighting ceremony. It’s spectacular! The William Annin Select Choir sings traditional holiday music as the tree shines with thousands of twinkling lights. After the ceremony ends, join Santa for a visit and photo-op. It really is fun for the whole family!
